1th April 1994. Catamaran ENZA NEW ZEALAND, finishing the 1994 Jules Verne Trophy in a strong northwesterly gale, 60 miles from the Ushant Island finishing line in Brittany (France). The yacht, skippered by Sir Peter Blake and Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, carries a small storm jib only. She is also towing the coiled anchor chain behind her to avoid pitchpoling in the steep running waves.
